Well...not really.
So tonight was "date night" with Andrea...she makes a pretty good date in the absence of Matthew.
Anyways, we started off our Saturday "date" with a nice hike at Russian Ridge, it was a beautiful day for a hike, but rather cold. Next we had yummy pizza at California Pizza Kitchen (I had the tostada pizza, my favorite!). We then both agreed on seeing Paycheck at the AMC Mercado. So we finally find a place to park waaay in the back, buy our tickets and get in the movie line. Since we were both freezing, I send Andrea off to the Starbucks so she could get herself some tea and a peppermint mocha for me. We have a little over an hour before the movie is due to start. Five minutes go by, and all of a sudden, darkness. Power's out at the theatre. There's probably fifteen or so of us in line. And we just stand there calmly and patiently for some direction. Thankfully, there's no chaos or pandemonium. There's still an hour before the movies due to start, so we're all pretty good about things. Several more minutes go by, and people start pouring out of the theatre. Things don't look good anymore. I send Andrea inside to the already crowded customer service desk, and people come out saying, go home, save your tickets, they're closing the theatre, come back another day. Andrea tells the same story. So we high tail it to the car, anxious to get out of the parking lot before everyone else does...good thing now we parked waaay in the back, close to the exit! We then decide on plan two, which is to see Big Fish at the indie theatre.
This was a really good, heart warming movie. I recommend it!
